Create a Jira issue from a test run.

Jira Cloud only. This connector supports Jira Cloud (sites on *.atlassian.net). Jira Server and Data Center (self-hosted) are not supported yet: they use a different host, authentication, and API format.

Create a token

1. Go to id.atlassian.com > Security > API tokens and click Create API token (the plain option). It needs no scope setup; it inherits your own Jira permissions, which is all the integration uses.
2. Atlassian also offers Create API token with scopes. That works too, but you must grant read and write access to Jira work items (to read projects and file issues) plus read access to users (so the assignee picker can list people). The plain token is simpler.

Connect

Enter your site (your-company.atlassian.net), your account email, and the API token.

Destination

A project. Jira requires an issue type, so pick one when you set the destination (it defaults to "Task" if you leave it). You can also set a default assignee.
